Short CV

Angelos Seriatos graduated with a degree in Political Science (University of Athens) in Greece. He also holds an MSc in Political Communication from the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. In that context he investigated the reciprocal relationship between mass media agenda in Greece and parliamentary initiatives taken by the Greek MPs. He also worked on various projects, focusing on the role of emotions in Politics and the use of different methodological tools in Political Science.

Currently is a PhD candidate in the Panteion University of Athens in Greece, focusing on topics related to electoral behavior and competition. His most recent academic work focused on negative partisanship and the return of left-right divide in the Greek party system.

Since 2019, he works as Head of Political and Social Research in Prorata SA. He has collaborated on various research programs with institutes, NGO’s and political parties in national and European level, such as the National Center of Social Research of Greece (EKKE), Nicos Poulantzas Institute, Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung and Amnesty International, systematically designing and analyzing research studies.
